Yesterday at TG1 on Rai1: "When Ceramics Become a Work of Art"

Yesterday at TG1 at 20.00, broadcast on Rai1, a beautiful report was broadcast with the title: "When Ceramics Become an Art Work" entirely dedicated to Vietri Ceramics.

In addition to the beautiful images shot in the alleys of Vietri Sul Mare and in a historic workshop, the service highlights how ancient this art is (already from the year 1000), but above all how much this tradition, handed down from father to son, is linked to the territory, capturing the beautiful and intense colors of the Amalfi Coast. An ancient art that between the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century was an unmissable stop on the Grand Tour of the intellectuals and young European nobles and which then, starting from the 1920s, experienced a very flourishing and intense period of renewal thanks also to artists of the caliber of Guttuso and Capogrossi, who have introduced new shapes, designs and decorations.
