For many people Vietri Ceramic are the workshop full of dishes, limoncello sets, vases, pitchers, cups, lamps with packed and brilliant colors. 
 
Form other peoples Vietri Ceramic represent the beautiful floor which decorate all types of houses, included the house of the most important Holliwood actors (as John Travolta, Tina Turner, Richard Gere). 
 
But Vietri Ceramic is also more: it is art and culture, and it is tied to the land where it born, from which it takes ispiration and the colors, but at the same time it gives decorating and beautifying it. 
 
In fact, starting from the colors of the landscape, it inscribe, in the same landscape where it borns, with tiles inserted in external or internal stonework of the houses or with "the tiles" setted in the curvy alleys and sometimes, secluded in the place of Amalfi Coast. 
 
Alleys which often adorn themself with wall panel, panel made with tiles in ceramic handpaint that, as a puzzle, it compose real artworks, original paintings, which represents a view of Positano or Amalfi, or fishing scenes on the shores of a nineteenth-century Naples, or also subjects or religious scenes. 
 
The Wall Panel Art is an art which we meet again in the faraway XVII century, the period to which date back the religious objects as domestic stoup, majolicas tiles with religious subjects, panels and votive aedicules which are still scattered in the alleys and in the pathway of the zone. 
 
The oldest evidence of tiles go back to 1627, walled in the Institute of the nuns of the charity to Raito, which represent Jesus Christ on the cross with to the sides St. Anthony of Padua and St. Francis.
Another example, of 1687, is walled in an external wall of Raito and represent the Virgin on the graces and two Saints. 
 
In the square of Vietri, it existe still a big wall panel composed by 42 tiles represent the Virgin, the Magdalene and Saint John at the foot of the cross, on the background there is a landscape and in the sky there are cupids with te symbols of the Passion of Christ. 
 
For the fact, that Vietri Ceramic is dinnerware (pitchers, dishes, glasses, etc.) house decors (vases, lamps, chandeliers, etc.) but also and especially floors, tiles, kitchen areas, wall panels that we decide to insert the latter in our website dedicating them the specific sections.
